We use different companies to deliver the orders we ship. Most orders within the UK are shipped via Royal Mail, all orders will have a tracking number so that you can be assured every step of the way that your order is in safe hands.

Although it is very rare, sometimes things go wrong and an item may get lost in the post, this hardly ever happens but when it does, we make sure you get a replacement item as quick as possible. We’ll never turn our back on you.

If you take us up on our return policy, the cost of return post will be your responsibility. We advise you get proof of postage from your local Post Office, just in case of any issues.

Whilst we have a few different delivery options on our checkout page, your requirements may not be met by them. If you need your item super fast, sameday, delivered on a Sunday, or evening delivery…Whatever your needs, we will be able to meet them, give us a call and we’ll be happy to help you.

All delivery times are estimates, any delays no matter how caused will not be compensated for. Please allow plenty of time for delivery when ordering. At busy times such as Christmas, you should allow even longer and be aware of any strike action or weather that might delay your delivery.

If your chosen delivery method has the option of nominating a “Safe place”, you will be able to tell us where you would like your parcel left if no one is available to take delivery. For example “Please leave behind blue bin”. Please only notify us of places that are safe as once a parcel has been left with your authorisation we may be unable to process any claims for lost parcels.


We offer a 366 day return policy. This means that so long as your item is in the same condition it was when you purchased it, and it has all the packaging and instructions etc, you can send it back to us for credit to spend on our website.

We will also accept returns for items you didn’t buy from us! So long as it complies with the above conditions. The store credit you’ll receive will be agreed on an individual basis. Now that’s amazing.

Unfortunately if the item is used, damaged or otherwise not in the as new condition, we will not be able to offer a full credit. This does not effect your statutory rights.

Return postage is at your expense and prior authorisation must be obtained from us to return your item. You can request this via phone or email. Books, DVD’s, Downloads and consumables are excluded from this policy.

Price Promise.

We promise to match any price for in stock items for sale within the UK. We’ll also deduct a further 10%, making it an even better deal for you. Due to the nature of online marketplaces such as eBay and Amazon, we are unable to include those in this policy. But please give us a call as every request is different, we may still be able to help.

Please request your price match prior to placing your order via email or phone or within 30 days of your purchase.

Used items.

At Buy Magic we’re always on the lookout for unusual and rare items, items that are no longer being manufactured etc. If you have magical items that you no longer need or want, send us an email detailing what you have, their condition and how much you would like for them. Include photos if possible. We’ll then get back to you with a cash offer.

If you buy a used item from us, it will be exempt from our 366 day return policy. Used items may be incomplete, damaged, missing their instructions or otherwise impaired in some way. We will try to be as descriptive as possible when listing them on our site but due to the nature of the items, we may not have all the factual information relating to the item. Magic creators.

If you are a creator of magic, we’d love to hear from you. Send us an email with a demo video of a performance or a Youtube link, and a detailed description of the effect. If we put it into production we offer a straight 50/50 split, after production costs are taken into account. This provides you with an ongoing passive income stream, without any of the hassle of producing or retailing the product. Payments are made at the end of each month, direct into your bank account. Full terms and conditions will be discussed on a case by case basis.

We can sell your magic:

If you have created a magic effect and want us to stock it, here’s how it works. First we agree a quantity that we can hold in stock. Then we will arrange for a courier to collect your products. We will then store them securely and add them to our website and other marketplaces for sale. Once a month we will issue you a payment via direct bank transfer for any items that have sold minus our fees.

We don’t pay upfront for items, we believe that we should both equally share the risk of sale. You provide the product, we provide the customers.

Our fees will be agreed with you prior to stocking your item, these will be agreed based upon potential sales, volume of product etc.

For example if you have 24 of a single effect that you wish to retail for £25. Our fee would likely be in the region of 20%. VAT would also need to be deducted from the sale at the current rate (assuming an EU sale). Your proceeds from this sale would be circa £15.84.

You would be able to remove your stock from our storage at any time, return delivery costs to you would be at your expense.

We do not charge any storage fees and any items that become damaged or lost will be fully credited to you.

Should your product remain unsold after a period of 12 months, we would request you to remove them from our storage at your expense.

We reserve the right to edit the retail price by +/- 20% without prior notice, any change in price greater than this would be agreed with you beforehand. E&OE excepted.
